For us, sustainability isn't a buzzword
Every month, one member of our team is nominated to spend a day volunteering for a local charity of their choice. For example, Stephen, our Head of Marketing, recently took part in a community clean up by the River Ribble, which is near the Freightlink office.
We’re making our commutes greener
All of our company cars are hybrid or electric and we have electric vehicle chargers available on site.
Meanwhile, thanks to our cycle to work scheme, we’re pedalling our way to a healthier, happier, and more eco-friendly commute.
Powered by 100% renewable energy
At Freightlink HQ, it isn’t only our excellent team that makes us who we are. Our office and websites are powered by 100% renewable energy. We even use photovoltaic solar panels on our office roof to generate electricity.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
We acknowledge that protecting the environment is our responsibility, which is why waste produced at our office is recycled accordingly.
Knowledge is power
That’s why we were among the first companies to inform our customers about the upcoming EU Emissions Trading Scheme, also known as the ‘carbon tax’.
