The UK HGV Road User Levy will be suspended for one year from the 1st August 2020 to 31st July 2021. During this period, UK and overseas-registered HGVs using the UK’s roads will NOT need to purchase a Levy.

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic affecting the industry, the UK Government hopes to ease some of the difficulties by providing the the 12 month suspension. The HGV Levy will be reviewed to ensure it continues to meet the Government's current and future objectives.

Please note that from now until 31st July you will still need to buy a Levy and DVSA enforcement will be continuing. Ensure you have a valid Levy when entering the UK up until 31st July 2020.
