Please be advised that as from the 26th of April necessary roadworks (phase 2) will take place on our Hoek van Holland freight terminal. The roadworks are subdivided into 5 phases. Although the sub-contractor will do their utmost to not disturb our port activities there could be situations that we can't avoid disturbance. This second phase will take approx. 10 weeks and is subdivided in 5 phases. This phase is a critical one for our operations as 1 phase will take place on the tightest part of our terminal (next to the Customs office).
During the whole period we will appoint, Stena Line traffic control marshals to direct the traffic during the working hours from 07.00 - till 22.30 (all days of the week).
We are aware that such a long period of roadworks on our extremely tight terminal is far from optimal, but we would like to be ready before the Container Release Message (CVB) and phase 2 & 3 of the Boarding Operation Model will be implemented (both CVB and BOM are Brexit related).
