We have been successfully operating a Vehicle Booking System in Forth Ports Tilbury2 terminal since June 2020. There are a number of benefits to both you and your haulier in using this system:

• no delays on driver arrival and Automatic Number Plate Recognition allows your haulier directly onto the terminal
• it eliminates any driver delay in delivering your unit to final destination by avoiding parking up and being processed at the Driver Window
• by using VBS it gives information relating to the status of your unit – available to collect, Customs Cleared or unit on hold. We do expect many import units will be put on hold after 1st July 2022
• eliminates any wasted journey to the Terminal and negates your haulier asking for any cost associated with a wasted journey
• in advance PIN validation for release

We also wanted to advise you that there will be periods where the Driver Window will be closed to drivers, except for self-drive check in and hazardous goods queries and assistance.
