As we mentioned in our previous Irish Sea article about the Cairnryan to Larne route, there are ferry routes linking the North of England with both the North and South of Ireland. The Liverpool <> Dublin route connects two of the most important cities for haulage and logistics.
The P&O Ferries Liverpool <> Dublin route operates up to 6 departures daily with a crossing time of approximately 7 hours. These crossings are provided by the Norbay, Norbank and European Endeavour vessels.
The Ships
The Norbay, Norbank and European Endeavour together provide space for around 330 freight vehicles and vans. All ships feature excellent facilities for drivers including a dedicated drivers' restaurant, drivers lounge, showers and toilets.
