When their customer required a new propeller to replace their old one, the expert team at Hercules Propellers turned to us for help with their logistical requirements.

The Problem 

By the time they came to us, the team had encountered two main issues. 

1. Customs documents

Due to a miscommunication, their customs agent had not completed the entire customs process on their behalf. This left our customer with an incomplete Greek import and export declaration. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only problem. 

2. Other paperwork

After they booked their return Italy⇄Greece tickets with us, the customer realised that they would require operating licences before their shipment took place. With just 4 days to go, this presented an even bigger challenge.

Knowing that time was of the essence, our team mobilised to support the customer with road transport, sea transport and customs paperwork as fast as possible. 

Firstly, we organised the entire process - including road transport with a specialist driver - so that the propeller (pictured below) would be delivered on time.

Then, we came up with a solution to quickly (and correctly) help the customer with completing their customs documents, ensuring that they would remain compliant and allowing easy entrance through the ports.
