Freightlink team member Stephen and friends will be getting their hiking boots on to walk a tough 30 miles through the spectacular West Highlands of Scotland.
The Lochalsh Dirty 30 Challenge takes place in June every year and involves a 30 mile circuit from Glenelg, passing the Skye Ferry, the Skye Bridge and the world famous Eilean Donan castle before climbing over the hills and past ancient brochs before returning to the finish in Glenelg.
Training for the challenge so far has involved a 22 mile walk around the Preston Guild Wheel and some shorter but equally difficult hikes. It's fair to say, it's going to be tough!
Stephen and co are fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society, which is a condition particularly close to our hearts.
"The Alzheimer's Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice."
