What works are taking place?

We will be carrying out works to replace the Variable Message Signs (VMS) in the vicinity of the Cuilfail Tunnel, Lewes.

When will these works start?

Work will start on Friday 13 January 2023 and continue until Wednesday 1 February 2023.

Traffic Management

The Cuilfail Tunnel will be closed between 23-27 January from 8pm to 6am each night. A suitable diversion route will be signed on site.

There will also be off-peak lane closures in the vicinity of the tunnel and Phoenix Causeway.
