DFDS Freight have provided some further information on the strike situation at Swedish ports. 

Swedish Dockworkers Union have given notice of a strike in Swedish ports from 00:00 hrs, 6th March 2019 until further notice. For more comprehensive information about the port conflict, please find an English version and a Swedish version presented by the Swedish ports. 

The next step is that the mediators have called two parties to negotiate today, 4th March 2019, and the outcome is expected to be known by tomorrow, 5th March. To handle the situation, DFDS are planning to call Brevik in Norway to assist with their Gothenburg <> Immingham and Gothenburg <> Ghent routes. This means there will be alterations to their schedule and change port of destination from the beginning of this week.

A strike schedule is planned to be presented today when there is a full picture of the extent of the situation. DFDS also have the option from Immingham to offer their service to Esbjerg which will increase it's capacity if needed.
