Please be advised that the French Customs system, SI Brexit, is scheduled to receive an update and will be shut down, Monday, October 21st from 08:00 to 10:00 (CET).
Therefore, all non-empty trucks will have to be directed to the “orange” parking zone for manual processing at the customs offices on arrival, whilst all “green” trucks are directed to the green exit lanes.
This means for anything checked in for the 06:00 departure to Dunkirk and the 07:40 departure to Calais on Monday see below:
Freight drivers will be presented with the below window sheets corresponding to their load:
- Loaded = orange.
- Empty/Empty Packages = green.
- Freight drivers are to place this in the window and keep it there for discharge in Calais/Dunkirk.
- Freight drivers with loaded vehicles, will need to go to customs on arrival.
- Driver Clearance screens onboard vessels, UK>FR will not receive any notifications from SI Brexit and only show orange for all vehicles.
Please note that all loaded vehicles should be presented to the orange zone in France on arrival for manual processing.
The shutdown of SI Brexit does not affect other services linked to customs clearance, such as Delta-G declarations and Delta-T Transit.
There is no impact on UK customs during this time.
