As part of the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, a controlled traffic zone (ZCR) will be set up on 6th June 2024 from 06:00 to 22:00.
During this period, traffic will be prohibited for freight vehicles. You will find further information on port access below -
- " For the 06:45 arrival - no lorries will be allowed to leave the port before 22:00 if traffic is restored.
- " For the 15:00 arrival - no lorries will be allowed to leave the port before 22:00 if traffic is restored.
- " For the 22:00 arrival - lorries may be kept at the port if the restrictions continue after 22:00.
- " For the 08:30 departure - only lorries (unaccompanied included) arrived at the port before 05:45 will be allowed to embark. Drivers dropping off unaccompanied vehicles must leave the ZCR before 05:45.
- " For the 16:30 departure - only lorries (unaccompanied included) arrived at the port before 05:45 will be allowed to embark. Drivers dropping off unaccompanied vehicles must leave the ZCR before 05:45.
- " For the 23:30 departure - only lorries (unaccompanied included) arrived at the port before 05:45 will be allowed to embark. Drivers dropping off unaccompanied vehicles must leave the ZCR before 05:45.
The Ouistreham SIVEP is in the ZCR, therefore the sanitary controls cannot be carried out during this time slot (06:00-22:00).
Some roads in the region will also be closed to traffic. We advise you to follow alternative roads (map of closed roads attached).
