Freight ferries from the UK to France
The Port of Dover receives around 2.1 million trucks, 2.8 million cars and 16 million passengers each year. It is one of the busiest port in the world.
Dover consists of two passenger service buildings – East and West.
Both include several cafes, restaurants, ATM and currency exchange, vending machines, as well as other retail outlets offering snacks and refreshments.
Toilets are also available in both buildings, but there are currently no shower facilities in the East building.
There are two BP Stations within a mile radius, and ‘Husk (UK)’ truckstop approximately 7 miles away offering fuel and parking.
As you can imagine with Dover being such a prominent port, there are a large number of hotels and accommodation available nearby.
