What is an Open Ticket?
Also known as a 'turn up and board' or 'turn up and go' ticket, an Open Ticket is a ticket issued for a route without a specific departure time.
Vehicles will travel on the first available crossing following arrival and check in at port. Open tickets are also normally valid for a certain period of time meaning if you are early or late you are not restricted to a specific time slot.
Please note, open tickets are valid for an operator specific number of days once the customer receives their booking reference. If you book earlier than the operator open ticket duration, your booking may expire and you may receive a cancellation email. DON'T PANIC! Contact our customer service team and they will renew your booking reference for travel during your original booking date.
